Based on Kauai's sunny south shore, the Poipu area, Mana Divers is a unique family owned and operated company, that values personal integrity, quality experiences and a high standard of excellence in providing personalized service.

We create comfortable and trustworthy learning experiences for our quests through patience and understanding, extensive marine life education, thorough training and briefings and responsible diving standards.

Established in 1991, Training and guided ocean dives are scheduled every day of the week including Sunday. Our Sixteen years of guiding recreational divers on the island of Kauai has provided us with tremendous insight into this incredible sport and the wonderful people who participate in it. Guided ocean dives are thoroughly briefed and eco-informed. Divers are scheduled in small groups (maximum of 4 per instructor guide) of similar skill level or family groups. 1 and 2-tank dives are available. We don't rush our tours and enjoy long bottom times. We don't feed the marine life or take game and strictly discourage harassment. We carefully choose instructors who are truly compassionate, personable and excited about diving.

About our name

Every time I dive, at some point I catch myself being overwhelmed by the incredible beauty of our ocean environment and the experience of being underwater. The more I dive the more I see and learn. I am never bored of diving and delight in sharing the adventure. In fact, my greatest joy and challenge is derived through the effort of sharing the experience. I believe we are all given special individual talents in life and I have learned my gifts allow me to be expert in sharing the awe and adventure of diving with our guests.

The Hawaiian Dictionary lists mana as: "supernatural or divine power... mana, miraculous power, privilege; miraculous, divinely powerful, spiritual..."

We live in one of the most beautiful places on earth, we are privileged to safely bask in its underwater majesty and to share that experience. I believe these are all gifts of a loving maker who I personally choose to thank everyday by answering our phone "aloha Mana Divers."

You don't have to share my esoteric view to enjoy diving with us. However, I'm sure you will in some way after experiencing Kauai's awesome beauty.
